After reading my ARC of Jodi Meadows's "Before She Ignites" I just knew that I really wanted to have a pair of earrings inspired by the book.
About the Book
It is the first book in the Fallen Isles Trilogy and is set to be released on September 12, 2017.
The main character, Mira Minkoba, really struck a chord with me. She has doubts about her own abilities and the whether others can see past her Hopebearer-status to the girl whose own family finds lacking. She has few friends and a love for dragons - a thing that her parents find absurd.
And...dragons! Here there be dragons. Mira's own favorite dragon, Lala, is golden in color. It is Lala's scale color that inspired the earrings in the giveaway.
The blue stones are meant to be the noorstones that are found in the book. But you'll have to read the book to find out their significance!
